You can’t beat a day at the races but recently we’ve been spending a bit more time than that at Fontwell Park racecourse.
What have we been doing?
Well, the doubles we’re on about aren’t the ones you find at the bookies (or the bar).
And the posts we’ve been busy with aren’t the ones at the finish line.
What we’ve been up to at Fontwell racecourse
Why have we been at Fontwell Park?
We do a wide range of commercial fencing work and this includes the installation of fencing and gates at sports venues.
So, we thought our recent job at the racecourse was a perfect opportunity to tell you more about what we do in this area.
It looked like a winner to us!
What we mean by “at the double”
What we mean here is double gates. We installed double gates in the main service yard at the racecourse.
For the racecourse and all its facilities to run well, smooth access to and from the main service yard is vital. Quality gates are part of this.
We were also seen “on the rails”.
Not on the course but installing knee rails on the paths that go to and from the carparks. These help guide everyone, keeping them going in the right direction and getting them to where they want to go.
Finishing posts and a free guide to spectator fencing
Double gates and knee rails weren’t all that we installed at the racecourse. We also put up perimeter fencing around the race-day hospitality area.
And the posts? Well, installing double gates, knee rails and perimeter fencing involves putting a lot of fence posts in the ground.
These are the kind of posts we lead the field in!
