We’ve sold our fencing and landscaping retail store in Chichester.

It sounds big, and it was a big decision, but not that much has changed.

It’s business as usual in terms of the supply and installation of residential, commercial and agricultural fencing and gates.

And you can still buy quality wooden garden furniture and garden tools from us. But our full range is now available from our yard in Selsey.

Of course, you can still buy garden furniture and tools, and fencing and fencing supplies from our online shop. Don’t forget our free local delivery!

Why we’ve sold our fencing and landscaping store 

Why did we make the decision to sell the Chichester retail store?

As we’re sure you’ve noticed, the last few years have been pretty tough, with a lot of disruption to supply, rising prices and general belt tightening.

Naturally, we’ve been affected. With regard to our store, we’ve worked hard to keep pricing fair and generate the sales we need, taking right opportunities at the right moments to keep us moving forward. And this brings us to the sale.

We’ve been doing what we do for a long time, which means we have plenty of experience and expertise when it comes to facing and overcoming challenges. So, this is why, when we received a good offer for our retail store, we took it. It was an opportunity to safeguard our main business, strengthen our base and give ourselves a strong platform for future growth.

What does the future look like for Knight Fencing? 

By selling the retail store and restructuring our business, we’ve strengthened Knight Fencing. It means we have the resources and stability to make sure our commitment to a high level of customer service and product quality remains unchanged.

Going forward, our main focus will be the supply and installation of residential, commercial and agricultural fencing and gates. And we will continue to sell wooden garden furniture and garden tools – maintaining the same standards in terms of what we offer – from our Selsey yard and online.

So, in many ways, it’s business as usual.
