Big news from Knight Fencing…
…we’re AFI UK Fencing Award finalists – again!
In two categories!
It means a lot to see the hard work of our team recognised by the Association of Fencing Industries (AFI), the national trade association for the fencing industry.
We’re super proud. Lots of big smiles here!
What national awards are we up for?
The AFI hands out a number of awards at its UK Fencing Awards do and we’re up for two big ones: Industrial Contractor of the Year and Domestic Contractor of the Year.
Industrial fencing and domestic fencing are the pillars on which Knight Fencing is built. They’re the two areas in which we specialise, working with all sorts of customers on all kinds of projects.
Our office team and installation crews work hard to make sure our commercial and domestic customers get everything they want. This is why it’s so good to get the nod from the AFI.
What projects got us nominated?
We’re up for Industrial Contractor of the Year and Domestic Contractor of the Year and our nominations are based on our projects with Goodwood Motor Circuit and local homeless charity Stonepillow.
We’re a long-term partner with Goodwood Motor Circuit and this time, we installed bespoke spectator fencing as part of the latest phase of their work in this area.
The project with Stonepillow was a really rewarding one. We donated new fencing and gates to the Stonepillow hostel in Chichester, replacing the old ones. You can read all about the project and see what we did here.
Can we win a UK Fencing Industry award?
Will we be going home with something shiny for the Knight Fencing yard tucked under our arm?
The competition is pretty stiff – we’re keeping some seriously good company – but we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed.
Well done to all the nominees – see you at St. James’ Park in Newcastle for the big day in October!
Wish us luck!
