Investing in the Future: National Apprenticeship Week at Knight Fencing

At Knight Fencing Ltd, we believe that everyone starts somewhere. Whether it is through a first taste of work experience or a formal apprenticeship, supporting hands-on learning and creating real pathways into the construction industry is something we genuinely believe in.

This February, we were proud to participate in National Apprenticeship Week 2026, celebrating the talent and dedication of those starting their careers in the fencing trade.

Inspiring the Next Generation

During the week, we were delighted to welcome a student from Bishop Luffa School for a week of work experience. This provided a real-world insight into what life in the construction and fencing industry is truly like—from site preparation to the final installation of high-quality perimeter solutions.

Celebrating Apprentice Success: Well Done, George!

National Apprenticeship Week is also a time to reflect on the incredible progress being made within our own team. We are incredibly proud of George, who has shown exceptional growth and development throughout his apprenticeship.

If things continue on their current trajectory, George will be ready to complete his End Point Assessment this April. This is a massive milestone in his professional journey, and we would like to extend our thanks to AJ’s Training for their continued support in his development.

Building Long-Term Careers

From short-term work experience to long-term careers, we are committed to nurturing local talent across Chichester and West Sussex. We look forward to seeing our apprentices continue to develop into the skilled tradespeople of tomorrow.
