Supporting the Next Generation: Joey’s Work Experience at Knight Fencing

At Knight Fencing Ltd, we believe that the best way to learn the trade is by getting stuck in. It was a real pleasure to host Joey last week for his work experience placement, giving him a front-row seat to the world of professional fencing and construction.

The Full Site Experience

Despite a week of heavy rain, Joey didn’t let the weather dampen his spirits. He spent time out on live project sites, embracing the “full site experience” and seeing firsthand how our team manages complex installations from start to finish.

Joey noted that while the work was tough at times, he genuinely enjoyed seeing the physical results of a day’s hard work. Our team, including Shane William Hammond, made sure that despite the rain, there was still plenty of laughter and teamwork on site.

Craftsmanship Behind the Scenes

A key part of our service is the quality of our materials. Joey also spent a day with our dedicated workshop team, assisting with the manufacture of our custom gates and panels. This gave him a unique insight into the preparation and craftsmanship that happens behind the scenes before any materials even reach a client’s site.

Investing in Local Talent

Supporting young people and providing hands-on learning pathways into our industry is something we genuinely believe in. We love seeing the next generation show an interest in skilled trades, and we are proud to provide the environment where they can explore their potential.

We wish Joey all the very best for his future career and thank him for his hard work during his time with us!
