Our apprentices receive on-the-job and off-the-job training, with their progress overseen by their own mentor. Mentors are experienced Knight Fencing staff members and they help to make sure that our learners get a real understanding of the fencing trade and the wide range of key knowledge and practical skills that are required to install fencing to a high standard.

All the time our apprentices are learning they will receive a wage. The working week for apprentices is a maximum of 40 hours and as well as a salary, our learners receive holiday pay.

At the end of the apprenticeship, if our learners show the right application and learning and pass the end of scheme assessment, they will receive a nationally recognised qualification that enables them to get the Association of Fencing Industries Blue FISS/CSCS fence installer card.
