We’re very proud to tell you that we’ve been nominated for a national fencing award.
We’ve been shortlisted for Security Contractor of the Year at the AFI UK Fencing Industry Awards.
Security fencing is a key part of our commercial fencing work.
Is this the fencing industry BAFTAs?
Kind of.
The AFI is the national trade association for the fencing industry. It promotes safety, quality and professionalism in our industry.
Members range from contractors and manufacturers to stockists and installers. Knight Fencing is one of them.
So, it means a lot to us for the AFI to recognise the work we do, how we do it and nominate us for this fencing award.
What are we nominated for?
We’re up for Security Contractor of the Year and our fencing award nomination is based on the garden centre security fencing job we did for B&M Stores in Eastbourne.
It was an interesting project. It threw up some pretty unique challenges (to do with the weather as well as security) and we came up with the solutions.
You can read all about the job, the challenges and the feedback we got here.
What are our chances of winning this fencing award?
Well, the competition is stiff – we’re in very good company – but we’re looking forward to the big day.
Will we win?
We’ll be getting dressed up and going to the Principality Stadium in Cardiff on 5th October to find out.
Wish us luck!
We’ll let you know if we come back down the M4 with something shiny for the Knight Fencing mantlepiece.
